Hello Calimesa Wildcats, Families, and Community Members!

At Calimesa Elementary, everything we do centers around one important goal: making a lasting, positive impact on every Wildcat who walks through our doors. We are devoted to fostering a learning community where students feel safe, valued, and inspired, an environment that supports their academic achievement as well as their social and emotional well-being.

Our commitment to the PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) framework helps guide the culture of our campus. By clearly teaching expectations and recognizing positive choices, we encourage students to demonstrate respect, responsibility, and safety each day. This proactive approach helps create a consistent and encouraging atmosphere where students are empowered to make good decisions and take pride in their growth.

A key part of our school culture is our house system, which strengthens connections across grade levels and builds a strong sense of belonging. Every student and staff member is part of one of four houses: Cheetahs, Cougars, Lions, or Tigers. Within these houses, students collaborate, form meaningful relationships, and earn points by showing leadership and positive character. The friendly competition and teamwork not only boost school spirit but also reinforce unity and shared purpose.

We hold high expectations for all students and are committed to seeing each one grow in confidence, mindset, and academic ability throughout the year. Our instruction, enrichment opportunities, and social-emotional supports are intentionally designed to ensure students leave us better prepared for future challenges and opportunities.
