The Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified School District is excited to announce the Sixth Grade Bridge Program that will take place at both Mesa View Middle School and Park View Middle School campuses.  The program will focus on incoming sixth grade students who would benefit greatly from a three-week summer session during which teachers and a counselor will help build academic and social skills as well as develop a strong sense of school connectedness.  The students chosen to be invited to this three-week program were identified by their elementary schools.

The Bridge Program begins June 13 and goes through July 5, Monday-Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  Students will have a half hour lunch during the day.  Lunch will be provided.  Participants in the Summer Bridge Program will also receive incentives for the regular school year, such as school supplies provided free of charge!
